Gheorghe Muresan

At 7’7”, Gheorghe Muresan played in the NBA for seven seasons earning the Most Improved Player Award in 1995-1996. Drafted in 1993 by the Washington Wizards (Bullets), Gheorghe used his 7’10” wingspan to dominate around the basket. A native of Romania, Gheorghe led the NBA in field goal percentage during the 1996-1997 season. Before being drafted by the Bullets, Gheorghe averaged 18.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.8 blocked shots while playing professionally in France.

 

Gheorghe has been coaching youth basketball since his retirement from professional basketball in 2002. He has trained and coached top AAU teams in the area. He also currently serves as the Vice President of the Romanian Basketball Federation.

Jennifer Lincoln

Coach Jennifer most recently served as the Head Coach of Middleburg Academy. Prior to that she coached with Giant Basketball Academy.

Peter Klosky

Coach Peter is the camp director for Giant Basketball Academy. He was a former camper at Gheorghe's camps. Coach Peter's goal is for kids to have a great introduction to the game of basketball.
