Spring Basketball Program 2012 Dominion Trail ES, Ashburn & Legacy ES, Ashburn
Teams
Each team will consist of a maximum of 12 players. The teams will be picked at the end of the first practice. Every effort will be made to make the teams are as even as possible.
Coaches
Giant Basketball Academy will hand pick the coaches for each team. These coaches will have the ability to teach and instruct the game of basketball at a high level. We will also accept volunteer parents who have some knowledge of basketball, to help as coaches.
Regular Season
Each team will play 6 games during the regular season and one playoff game. The younger teams will not have a playoff. Instead, they will play 7 regular season games.
Playoffs
The playoffs will start the week after the last regular season games have been played.
Games
Games will be 6 quarters of 6 minutes. The games will be officiating by 1-2 referees. The clock will only stop in the last two minutes of the last quarter. The score will not be recorded for the 6-8 year old games.
